Welcome to So Free. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Account Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to create a So Free account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You may add household members (including minors) to your account — their data is managed under your parental authority and responsibility.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it updated.

2. Acceptable Use

So Free is designed for family coordination and planning. You agree to use the platform for its intended purpose and not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material
• Use the AI assistant to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the platform without authorization
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the platform beyond normal use

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in So Free — trip plans, events, tasks, conversations, photos, and any other data you enter. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the So Free service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

4. AI Assistant

So Free includes an AI-powered assistant that provides suggestions, generates plans, and helps with family coordination. Important limitations:

• AI suggestions are informational and should not be relied upon as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise)
• The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate information — always verify important details independently
• We continuously improve the AI but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy or availability

5. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We'll provide reasonable notice for planned downtime when possible.

6. Intellectual Property

The So Free platform — including its design, code, features, AI models, branding, and documentation — is owned by So Free and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you rights to our branding, trademarks, or proprietary technology beyond normal use of the platform.

7. Privacy

Your use of So Free is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, So Free and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.

Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our platform evolves. We'll notify you of material changes via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
